HELEN FRANÇOIS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

The Helen François Educational Foundation has been set up to provide academic bursaries to needy families of special needs children who would otherwise be unable to afford to pay the New Horizon Special School fees.

A lifelong dream of Mrs. Salome François (Executive Director of New Horizon) was to create and grow a pool of funds which would ensure that more of our ‘special’ children get the opportunity to attend school where they would not only enjoy a well-rounded education but also attain their full God-given potential.

On the occasion of her 90th birthday, on 14th May 2019, she therefore decided to ask friends, family and well-wishers not to give her gifts but to donate to the Helen François Educational Foundation instead. Her wishes were respected and her dream became a reality.

Currently, the cost of sponsoring a child at New Horizon Special School for ONE academic year is GHS5,000.00 (Five Thousand Cedis) and all donations are welcome.

Payments can be made by cheque (to Helen François Educational Foundation), ExpressPay, MTN MoMo or by cash.
