Tulip Class

The Tulip class is a specially designed and structured class for young adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Their ages range between 16 years and up. Some of them are non-verbal and so use PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) as means of communication. Their activities are structured according to their strength and ability because their attention span varies. They engage in activities such as literacy (writing and tracing), numeracy (numbers work, simple addition), puzzles, beading, coloring, sensory integration activities and group activities like creative art (cut & paste). They also enjoy computer lessons and pre vocational activities like weaving.
