Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and Language Therapy is the process of assessing, diagnosing, and providing interventions for speech disorders and pathologies such as articulation (sound production) and activities (oral-motor/feeding and swallowing).

The Speech & Language Therapy Program at New Horizon is run by Ms. Salima Sidiki. Salima holds a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy from the University of Ghana and has vast experience in the field. Ms. Sidiki provides regular and consistent services to students who register for speech interventions.

For each student, Ms. Sidiki will: 

  • Carry out initial assessments, reviews and therapy recommendations
  • Prepare session plans and reports for each student
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Provide appropriate interventions
